Membership / Member of the Society
Member of the Society
A member receives the calendar of the Society, its Dinners, its Galas, its Salons, and the standing to bring guests and convene gatherings of their own. Membership opens the whole JULY world.
How Membership Is Extended
Four steps, taken with care.
Application
Membership begins with an application. We ask who you are, what you have built, and what draws you to the Society, in your own words.
Endorsement
Applications are supported by the endorsement of people who know the applicant’s work, whether members of the Society or others whose judgement the Society trusts.
Consideration
Every application is read in full. There is no scorecard and no quota; each is weighed on its own terms against the Society’s standard.
Introduction
Members who are approved are typically welcomed at a Dinner first, the Society’s most personal gathering, before the wider calendar opens to them.
