The Society / Origins
How the Society comes together.
The Society did not set out to be an institution. It set out to be a good table, kept regularly, for people worth keeping company with. The rest followed.

A Table, Kept
The Society began the way most good things do: a small group of people who had built something worth building, gathering deliberately rather than by chance, across a table set with care. What made it worth repeating was not the room but the company, so it was repeated, and then convened properly, and in time it became the Society.
Who Convenes It
Each gathering is convened by hand: the room is chosen for the occasion, the table is set to a standard, and the guests are known before the evening begins. There is no floor of strangers and no open door. Every seat at every table is the result of a decision, made by someone who knows why that person belongs there.
An International Table
What began as a single table now convenes across the cities where the Society’s members live and work. The format travels; the standard does not change. A Dinner in one city is held to the same care, and the same discretion, as a Dinner in any other.
Part of the JULY World
The Society is one table within the wider JULY world, alongside JULY Golf, JULY Jets, JULY Yachts, and JULY Resort. Membership in the Society is, for many members, a door into that wider company as well.
